AGRI BUSINESS AFRICA EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE IN SOUTH AFRICA 20-22 JULY ,2008 The British Government as part of its aid to Africa, through its Department of International Development (DID) has established a project to assist small scale farmers & agro processing companies in Africa to upgrade their products to standards required in international export market so as to improve their access to these markets. DID intends to will work with these supermarkets to help farmers in Africa to export goods that will meet quality requirements. Tanzania is one of the few Africa countries earmarked to benefit from this program. During the first phase, representative groups of growers and processors of agricultural products are invited to exhibit their products to the Africa Big Seven Exhibition (AB7) at Gallaghar Midrand in South Africa . Organisers of this event have made available at no charge one stand of 9m ² to Tanzania . The Board of External Trade is prepared as it did last year to acquire one additional space of 9m ² depending on the number of confirmed participants. We have been informed that the organizers have already invited you to participate. We are therefore writing this announcement to seek your confirmation for participation. The deadline is set to be the 16 th June, 2008. Participants will meet their costs for ticket, accommodation and upkeep expenses. Accommodation is available at US$ 80 – 160 per night or US$ 240 – 480 for three nights. This includes breakfast and dinner. Shared rooms are also available.
